Terms of use

These terms apply to spunzo.com. They are not a substitute for reading the sources we link.

Purpose

The site exists to aggregate and compare coverage of the same events: what more than one outlet reported, what only one reported, and where they disagree. That is criticism and commentary. It is not a substitute for any article and not an official record.

Two voices

Faces and shared-column lines are Spunzo’s summaries. When an overlay shows a verbatim excerpt, those words are the source’s. We do not speak for the outlet or for people they quote. An outlet’s appearance on a board is not an endorsement.

Accuracy

Summaries can be incomplete or wrong. They may drop context, hedges, or a later correction. We may omit claims. If the overlay and the original conflict, the original controls. Dates on a source are as of our access, not a live feed.

Not advice

Nothing here is legal, medical, or investment advice.

Links and excerpts

Each source is named and linked. Short excerpts, when shown, are for identification and comparison. We do not claim a license from the publisher except as the law allows. Do not scrape this site to rebuild a corpus of other people’s articles.

Puzzles

Games are optional. Settings control which ones appear. If you have an account, we store high scores against each game seed. Guests may still generate anonymous play stats.

Your use

You may read, link to, and quote our summaries with attribution to Spunzo. You may not copy overlays or stills in a way that strips their source credit. Staff tools and unpublished drafts are not public.

Notices

A public address for copyright and correction notices will be published when mail is set up. Until then, these terms still describe how the board is meant to be read.
