No. 1 Alexander Zverev beat Ben Shelton 6-3, 7-6(2), 5-7, 6-2 in the 2026 US Open final for his second major of the year, extending the American men's Grand Slam drought since Andy Roddick in 2003.

Top seed Alexander Zverev of Germany beat American Ben Shelton 6-3, 7-6(2), 5-7, 6-2 on Sunday in the US Open men's final at Arthur Ashe Stadium for his first Flushing Meadows title and second Grand Slam of 2026.
