Anthony Trabue got 7½ years after an Alford plea to manslaughter; Kristy Brumley got six years.
Jefferson Circuit Judge Jessica Green on Sept. 3 sentenced Anthony Trabue to 7½ years after an Alford plea to second-degree manslaughter and facilitation of robbery in the Feb. 16, 2025, shooting death of Louisville Metro Corrections officer Michael Wehdah, 44, in Russell. Kristy Brumley was sentenced to six years. Wehdah’s family spoke at sentencing. A third defendant, Brian Ramsey, pleaded guilty and is to be sentenced later.

Guarnieri said the date was at Trabue’s home.
