Driver charged with murder after Poplar Level crash kills two passengers

Police say Bradley Roth, 44, of Rineyville, was driving with a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit when a pickup hit a box truck on Poplar Level Road, killing two passengers.
Louisville Metro Police say a pickup traveling at a high rate of speed hit a box truck on Sept. 21, 2026, in the 4500 block of Poplar Level Road near Bishop Lane. Passengers Jason Bohannon and Gregory Paulin were killed. Bradley Roth was charged with murder, wanton endangerment, and DUI; a hospital test put his BAC at 0.254.
