Klobuchar’s fraud record vs. 1,000 Senate press releases
Lisa Demuth and conservative outlets say Amy Klobuchar’s Senate office never mentioned Minnesota’s social-services fraud. Klobuchar says she got federal prosecutors more resources.
Amy Klobuchar is running for Minnesota governor against House Speaker Lisa Demuth with the state’s social-services fraud as a central issue. Klobuchar says that when she heard of the scheme she pushed the Justice Department for more prosecutors, and she is now advertising a Day 1 audit.
