Louisville Metro ABC issued an emergency alcohol-license suspension for Dasha Barbours at 217 E. Main St. after a 1:30 a.m. Sept. 12 shooting outside the restaurant killed 17-year-old Kameron D. Neal and left a 16-year-old in critical condition. ABC said the incident was preliminarily related to noncompliant operations. Councilwoman Shameka Parrish-Wright said the owner is being held responsible for a shooting staff placed just outside the door; Mayor Craig Greenberg's office applauded ABC. WHAS reported a basement party was underway though the restaurant closes at 10 p.m.

Councilwoman and mayoral candidate Shameka Parrish-Wright was at Dasha Barbour's when Metro ABC revoked its liquor license.

Mayor's spokesperson Matt Mudd applauded ABC's actions.
