Secret Service says it is aware of Iranian state-TV video threatening Barron Trump
The agency confirmed Tuesday it is tracking a weekend IRIB video that named locations tied to the president’s son and alleged a $10 million bounty.
The U.S. Secret Service said Tuesday it is aware of an Iranian state-television video that appears to threaten Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s 20-year-old son. The nearly three-minute clip, aired over the weekend on IRIB, opened with a graphic asking where to kill him, showed locations including Trump Tower, claimed he was being monitored, and alleged a $10 million bounty or reward. Hard-line Iranian media have targeted the Trump family since the U.S.-Israeli war that killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in February. The White House referred questions to the Secret Service, which said it does not discuss protective intelligence.
